• Eric Perrot complaint letter….  Matt Dana will construct a letter to Mrs. Caldwell explaining our actions regarding this complaint.
• Unnecessary roughness vs checking in non-checking league

 

SVHOA Membership Meeting  ( 38 in attendance)

 

• Men’s Senior “C” League does not allow slap-shots.
• Back-up goaltenders are not allowed in the penalty bench.  Eric will review with the GSAHA coaches at next coaches meeting.
• No missed games, and no late arrivals either… good job!
• No issues concerning “assign-by-web”…. Matt said there are some self- assign games available for this weekend.  Also one for Thursday 11/6 night at the Dow Event Center.  Check it out, and help out if you can.
• Control the change of players at a stoppage:  It starts with the outside official pointing towards the visiting team’s bench to identify changes can be made; after 7 seconds, your arm goes up to signify no more changes, then the home has 7 seconds to make their changes.  After the 7 seconds have passed, point to you partner and he blows his whistle to conduct the face-off.
• Unnecessary roughness vs checking in “Non-checking” games:  You have an option to call a minor for unnecessary roughness or major for checking.  The major for checking in GSAHA Men’s games will result in a game misconduct + a (3) game suspension.
