Their 2-year term is coming to a close, and we need to take nominations to fill the (3) open SVHOA board positions.

Goalie’s
glove comes off… Is there an immediate whistle ? The book says
if any players helmet comes off during play there shall be an immediate
whistle, but does not say anything regarding the goalie’s glove. Think of it this way, the goalies glove serves (2)
functions, a) protects the goalie’s hand, and b) assists the goalie in
preventing a goal. If a player loses
his/her glove, they do not have to continue to play, but allowed if they
choose. The goaltender should not
exercise the same option as the player because the result could be a goal
scored upon the team. Therefore, we believe you should blow the whistle
to stop play and allow goalie to replace his glove.

on a break-away and a stick is thrown onto the ice….player is in the attacking
zone when the stick is thrown towards the puck…Penalty
