Policy for “Games Missed”

 

Officials missing games that were assigned to them will be fined.  The fine will be equal to the amount of the game he/she was assigned.  If an official misses game(s) on two or more days during the same scheduling period, not only will he/she be fined, he/she will not be assigned any games for the next scheduling period.

 

  1. The official doing the game by himself/herself is required to contact Matt Dana before the next scheduled meeting to inform him you did game(s) by yourself.  (preferably by email  mattjdana@hotmail.com)  If he/she does not comply they will not get the “double pay” for that game.
  2. If an official is faced with doing a game by himself/herself, but gets another official to fill-in, you are required to contact Matt Dana same as above.  The official missing the game(s) will be fined.
  3. Officials missing games will be invited to the next SVHOA Board meeting to explain the reasons for missing game(s) assigned.
